Restoring sensory feedback in amputees. As part of my research, I focus on developing novel sensory feedback approaches for restoring touch and proprioception in upper-limb amputees.

I worked with ten patients, helping deliver tangible benefits and improvements in quality of life. My clinical work has been carried out in Switzerland (CHUV, Lausanne), Italy (Gemelli, Rome) and Serbia (Rehabilitation Hospital, Belgrade).

Accepted in the highly selective Electrical Engineering Doctoral program (8-10% chosen yearly amongst 450 applicants).

Engineering intern

Riken institute, Tokyo

As an Engineering Intern at Riken, Tokyo, my main task was to implement multiple scientific tools for in-house use, accessible through a web-app. A secondary project involved creating 2D and 3D figures and schematics which were included in high impact scientific papers (PRL, etc).

Teaching Assistant

Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)

Assisted a total of 9 classes (150-250 students per class) in both first and second year physics and informatics (classes of Prof. Gruetter, Prof. Sam, Prof. Decotignie and Prof. Lepetit). My role involved teaching students problem solving skills and helping them understand and apply the concepts introduced in class. I also corrected written exams and was an examiner for oral exams.
